Audience Choice Award: Best Documentary Mammoth Lakes

We are really proud to announce that we won the Audience Choice Award at Mammoth Lakes Film Festival!  There is something very special about winning the Audience Award at any festival but we are really honored to win here as the competition was really tough.  Shira Dubrovner and Paul Sbrizzi put together an impressive line up of films and we were honored to take part.  To come away with the Audience Choice for Best Doc when you are going up against films like Cartel Land, The Chinese Mayor, and Steve Jobs: The Man and the Machine is quite special.  What a great festival, we enjoyed it so m

Official Selection: San Francisco DocFest

HotDocs: Top Ten Audience Award

It's official!  We finished in the top ten for the Audience Award at HotDocs (#8).  What an incredible honor.  It is always nice to win an award but there is something special about receiving this award for everyone here.  To know that out of 210 films at one of the world's premier documentary festivals the audience appreciated our film this much is something very special.  Thank you HotDocs!  Thank you Toronto!

We woke up to this…#1 Audience Pick at HotDocs!

Wow, we are all so pleased...well more like in shock to see this today.  As of today (April 29th) we are voted, by audience ballot, the #1 film in the running for the Vimeo on Demand Audience Award at HotDocs in Toronto. The top 20 will be recognized for an award and we are currently #1!  Incredible honor!  This film continues to amaze us all.  The winner will be announced on May 4! Here is hoping we can keep this momentum up!

Winner: “Best of Fest” ASU Human Rights Film Festival

We just got the great news!  Omo Child: The River and the Bush has received the "Best of Fest" award from Arizona State University's Human Rights Film Festival.  What a wonderful honor to be recognized at a festival that is specifically programed around bringing awareness to human rights issues around the globe.  Thank you ASU!

California Premiere! Newport Beach Film Festival

We are really excited about being selected for the Newport Beach Film Festival!  For the whole crew this really means a lot.  Everyone who worked on the film is based in southern California and we can't wait to make our California premiere at Newport Beach Film Festival.  The film continues to make headway on the festival circuit and we are just so proud!  Thank you Newport Beach.  Will be screening April 27th at 7:30pm.  Hope to see you there.

Official Selection: Mammoth Lakes Film Festival

Looks like we will be headed to the Sierra Nevada's.  What a beautiful setting for a film festival, honored and proud to be part of the Mammoth Lakes Film Festival!  The festival runs from May 27th - to May 31st.  Our screen date and time will be May 28th at 7:30.  Thank you Mammoth Lakes.

ASU Human Rights Film Festival

What a wonderful honor, we are proud to be taking part in the Arizona State University Human Rights Film Festival!  The festival takes place at the Armstrong Hall - Sandra Day O'Connor School of Law and our screen date and time is April 18th at 2:00pm.

Official Selection: Julian Dubuque
