One Man's mission to stop the killing of children in the Omo Valley
It's official! We finished in the top ten for the Audience Award at HotDocs (#8). What an incredible honor. It is always nice to win an award but there is something special about receiving this award for everyone here. To know that out of 210 films at one of the world's premier documentary festivals the audience appreciated our film this much is something very special. Thank you HotDocs! Thank you Toronto!
We just got the great news! Omo Child: The River and the Bush has received the "Best of Fest" award from Arizona State University's Human Rights Film Festival. What a wonderful honor to be recognized at a festival that is specifically programed around bringing awareness to human rights issues around the globe. Thank you ASU!
Wonderful honor we received from Arizona International Film Festival today.
Omo Child: The River and the Bush has taken home another honor from our second festival! Sun Valley International Film Festival has recognized us with a Special Recognition: One in a Million Documentary. Thank you Sun Valley! You don't know what it means to all of the crew and most of all to the children of Omo Child who we hope will benefit the most from any awards or recognition the film receives. All profits from the film go directly to the children after all!
We won our World Premiere! Thank you DC Independent, what an honor. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers who put on a great festival. We proud to have had our World Premiere with you.
