One Man's mission to stop the killing of children in the Omo Valley
It's incredible to think that the year is already more then half over! What an amazing 7 months it's been for Omo Child: The River and the Bush. To date we have been selected for 23 Film Festivals around the globe. Most have been in the United States but we are very proud to have made our International Premiere in April at the 2015 HotDocs Festival in Toronto and even more proud to have received the "Top Ten Audience Award". We will be in Europe and other international locations soon so please stay tuned for more on that. We have won 9 awards from Best Documentary, Best Cinematograph
It is particularly special to find out we are an official selection for a Southern California film festival as that is where the whole crew is based. So we are very honored to be an official selection for the Oceanside International Film Festival! We will be screening Saturday August 15th at 11:15 am at the historic Star Theatre on Coast Highway. We are really looking forward to attending as the whole crew can be in attendance. Should be a great day, hope you can join us.
We are all proud to be "first time" filmmakers here and we are excited for the Middlebury New Filmmaker Festival in beautiful and scenic Middlebury Vermont in August. The festival runs from August 27th-30th. We don't have our screen date yet but will update our screenings list when we do! Hope to see you there.
Looks like we are indeed going to be busy this summer bringing our film to many festivals. More good news to share, we are invited to the New Hope Film Festival in Pennsylvania! We are very honored and are really looking forward to attending New Hope.
Before this festival season is over we are going to reach every corner of the country (and hopefully world!). Join us if you can on Saturday July 11th or Sunday July 19th. Here is a MIFF to our page on their website so you can buy tickets and see the entire line up of films.
We are really proud to announce that we won the Audience Choice Award at Mammoth Lakes Film Festival! There is something very special about winning the Audience Award at any festival but we are really honored to win here as the competition was really tough. Shira Dubrovner and Paul Sbrizzi put together an impressive line up of films and we were honored to take part. To come away with the Audience Choice for Best Doc when you are going up against films like Cartel Land, The Chinese Mayor, and Steve Jobs: The Man and the Machine is quite special. What a great festival, we enjoyed it so m

The film continues to make headway on the festival circuit and we are just so proud! Thank you Newport Beach. Will be screening April 27th at 7:30pm. Hope to see you there.
